I put a set of Laufenn X-Fit A/T on my 89 Ford Ranger 4x4 about 3 years ago. I like them so well I put a set on my 97 Ford F150 4x4 this year. Laufenn tires are a lower cost tire that preform closer to a premium tire then that of a lower cost tire.
My 2010 Highlander AWD has 243k miles so I didn't want to spend 1/4 of its value on new tires. I'm really happy that I bought these. I've been doing seasonal work delivering UPS packages and some of the driveways in my area are super steep, windy and totally untreated after the snowfall this week. It was only a few inches of wet snow but I've had zero issues getting up and down the wet snow pack on what seems like at least 30% inclines in some cases. I haven't even needed to engage snow mode. Plus, they've been great on pavement from the moment they were mounted. Very comfortable. Just don't over inflate them or they feel weird.
Been running Laufinn AL'S for years. Won't run anything else. Been pulling trailers for nearly 20 years. Love the tires.
Very pleased with these tires, look awesome, handle well wet or dry, rides very hard when temps drop, definite gas mileage loss, but to be expected due to size and weight. Have 10K miles but show no signs of any wear.
CAN'T GET THEM TO BALANCE. NO MATTER WHO BALANCES THE TIRES THEY STILL SHAKE MY 2500 PRETTY BAD
