  • A part of the American Omni Trading Company, Venezia Tire is a Thai brand that specializes in manufacturing tires for passenger cars, CUVs, SUVs, and light trucks. Its Crusade tire line features different tire categories such as all-season, performance, all-terrain, and mud-terrain. Belonging to the same tire line, the Crusade SXT is an all-season tire that can be used on coupes, sedans, minivans, crossovers, and SUVs.

The Venezia Crusade SXT uses the company’s VDMS (Variable Depth Micropositioned Siping) system for enhanced wet weather traction. The all-season tread features a ribbed pattern for better steering response and improved stability and handling. The multiple circumferential grooves drain water quickly to resist hydroplaning. The semi-closed shoulder design with lateral grooves improves the cornering and overall handling of the vehicle. Backed by a 60,000 miles tread life warranty, the Venezia Crusade SXT is available in multiple tire sizes ranging from 15 to 20 inches.

So, does the tire deliver on the promise? Let’s find out in this Venezia Crusade SXT tire review. Keep reading.

    Features and Benefits

All-season tires are designed to deliver excellent performance in dry, wet, and light winter weather conditions. The Crusade SXT falls in a similar category and offers solid performance without costing a bomb.

    • Nice grip and traction – The circumferential grooves and intelligent sipes help in the quick removal of water and slush to avoid the risk of hydroplaning. Venezia's VDMS (Variable Depth Micropositioned Siping) system improves traction in wet weather conditions. Additionally, semi-closed shoulders with lateral grooves and sipes not only enhance grip but also aid in providing better stability.
    • Longevity – The special silica rubber compound provides resistance to uneven wear while the symmetric tread design ensures gradual wear. The reinforced carcass and sidewall construction of the Venezia Crusade SXT makes the tire tough and prolongs its service life. The 60,000 miles limited treadwear warranty is a testament to the tire’s durability and longevity.
    • Improved stability and handling – The optimized contact patch with a ribbed pattern enhances driving stability and steering feedback. Better grip leads to improved steering response to each driver input. The advanced tread pattern maintains constant, close contact with the ground and doesn’t allow soundwaves and vibrations to escape the tread and enter the vehicle. This ensures you get a comfortable and quiet travel time.

    Pros and Cons

While there are definitely a lot of advantages of the Crusade SXT tire, but then, there are some not-so-cool things too. Let’s have a look at them before summing up this Venezia Crusade SXT review.

I've only had these a couple of weeks and no rain or snow yet so I can't comment on that. They do ride really nice compared to my old tires EXCEPT on grooved pavement. On my unavoidable freeway commute these things catch those grooves and jerk my car all over the place. It's terrifying and enough to make you nauseated. I wish I would have known that before I bought these, so I hope this helps someone else.

This is the noisiest tires that I've ever purchase for a car or truck. They produce so much noise on my G37 Journey that I will have to purchase a new set of tires and waste nearly $500 in the process. I call support but they don't answer and there mailbox is full... I see why. I'll end-up having to call the BBB before it over with... hope not. These tires are advertised as being design for quietness... what a joke. I would love for customer support to contact me to see if there is a fix for the noise. I just had them installed today and by the time I got back home my ears was ringing from the whinning noise created by these tires.
