The nondirectional all-season tread of the RoadOne Cavalry HP has a pretty explicit mission: short braking distances and resistance to hydroplaning on wet roads as the groove system quickly diverts standing water through and behind the tire’s contact patch. In light snow, the RoadOnes sipe network chews and slashes its way through for consistent and safe traction and control (although, like most all-season tires, it’s not really designed to handle heavier accumulations of snow on the road). Ride quality stays composed with no tendency towards the jitters even on broken or irregular pavement; it’s more like the sort of comfortable, composed quality you’d expect from an automotive Grand Touring tire, and the RoadOne’s internal construction is designed to soak up vibrations and irregularities before they make it to the passengers.
