I bought these Prinx tires knowing they were a budget option, and my experience has been decent. They perform well for everyday driving, but I don't think they're a long-term tire. If you decide to buy them, I'd recommend planning to replace them within a year or sooner, depending on how much you drive. They're a good value for the price, but I wouldn't expect them to last as long as premium brands.

Prinx Tire was founded in 1976, and is a premium tire brand under Prinx Chengshan Holding Limited, with TBC as its exclusive distributor in the United States. Prinx manufactures a wide range of tires, including those for passenger cars, light trucks, agricultural and industrial equipment, as well as trucks and buses. The brand designs, develops, and exports its products to over 130 countries worldwide.
What can you expect from an all-season tire is its versatility as it typically offers better rolling resistance for enhanced fuel economy. The Prinx HiSeason 4S HS1 is an all-season touring tire crafted for crossovers and SUVs, offering reliable traction in all weather conditions. Its design features circumferential grooves, a dense siping pattern, and "snow plow" tread elements for enhanced grip. The tire's specialized tread compound and distinctive ladder-shaped blocks qualify it for the Three Peak Mountain Snowflake rating, certifying it for severe winter performance. Additionally, it comes with a 70,000 mile limited manufacturer’s tread life warranty.
But is this the right tire for you? Let’s take a deeper look at this Prinx HiSeason 4S HS1 tire review.
Features and Benefits
If you live in areas that experience moderate temperatures year-round, you will need a set of tires that perform well in dry, wet, and light winter weather conditions. This is a must-requirement for changing weather conditions as that can make it difficult for your tires to grip the road. Let’s take a look at the Prinx HiSeason 4S HS1 tire review to help us understand all its features and benefits at a glance:
- 3PMSF certified: The HiSeason 4S HS1 is a 3PMSF certified tire making it deliver solid control in snowy and wet conditions.
- Extra protection against damage: The durable tread compound of the Prinx HiSeason 4S HS1 provides longer tread life. Increased sipe density resists hydroplaning and consistent wet braking performance is maintained by full-depth sipes throughout the tire’s lifespan.
- Superior traction: Four grooves help channel water away from the tire's surface for better wet traction and handling. Additionally, cutting-edge ‘snow plow’ elements at the lug’s base improve traction in freezing temperatures and snow.
- Improved high-speed handling: Innovative profile design ensures a safe journey with enhanced driving stability through ladder-shaped grooves
- Longer tread life: Non-directional pattern and lateral sipes allow for extended tread wear, easy rotation, and increased lifespan of the tire.
You can trust the Prinx HiSeason 4S HS1 if you are looking for an affordable tire that doesn’t skimp on performance. The tire is available in 15 to 22 inch sizes.

Bought these tires using the military star program and they turned out better than expected. Great tire very little road noise. And overall seem to be a great tire. Will definitely buy again for my other vehicle
I am very happy with my Prinx tires and would buy them again. They are high-quality tires that provide a smooth and safe ride with very little noise and treadwear. My only less than perfect review would be the tires in cool rain, as you can feel/hear a little bit of slipping if the roads are particularly slick. Overall, they are amazing tires for both the price and the function.
These tires were a good price and the tread pattern looks excellent. Driving in dry or wet conditions are perfect. Haven't driven in snow yet but the 3 peak rating was a main reason I bought these ones over the others I was looking at.
Good price for these tires. They look good on both my vehicles, Hyundai Santa Cruz and Tucson. Handles well in the rain. I haven't been in snow yet, so no opinion on that. Just took a week long trip, put over 1000 miles on them and was extremely happy with their performance.
I drive a lot and replace tires every 5-6 months. I've bought cheap and expensive tires. I went with these due to the 70k mile rating and was pleasantly surprised. They ride fairly smooth without excessive noise. Based on past experiences these prob won't last any longer than others, but for what you get for the price, well worth a look. I've now bought these for 2 other cars and will repeat buy
Tires were a great purchase..im very happy with them and how they handle the crazy roads where i live!
These tires ride great, not noisy. Planning on getting another set for my other car!
