Good looking tires, great on road
I've only put about 500 miles on these Nitto recon grapplers. I'm running 315/70 17 on stock rubicon wheels with 31 psi on all 4. So far they're already better on the road than the bfgoodrich in my opinion. I have yet to take it out to the trails to see how they perform.
Great tires
Great tires. 35x11.50R20LT 124R E. I've already put 92,000 miles on them, and I think they could easily go another 3,000 miles. I'll buy them again, but I'll get the 12.50 size next time. I didn't find them reliable on wet pavement, they tend to spin at takeoff if you accelerate a bit harder than usual. They're quiet when new but get noisier with use.

Quite tires
Awesome tire
Great tires with 1-day delivery!
This is my second pair of Nittos. They look great and are silent!
Great, but not as they wear down
My tires are date coded mid 2022, and are already dry rotting as of early 2025. At first, they were awesome, quiet, stout in all weather. But the rubber compound as been disappointing till now, April 2025. I have them on my 07 Tundra. Braking action is pretty good in snow and ice. Acceleration is terrible. Steering is good in snow and ice too. But they are dry rotting faster than I would expect. I don't off road often, and if I do it's not intense. But there's a chunk out of the back tires, and fronts are crumbling. It's disappointing. They were good at first in all conditions, but 3 years and about 30k miles in I can't wait to get rid of them.
Recon Tires are Superb
Second set of these tire and found them to be quiet, great traction on dry and wet surfaces. Please remember if you want a great response from any tire, replace your shocks with quality.
I love Nitto tires.
This will be the 5th set of Nitto tires that I have run. I have had them on several trucks and a jeep, and they have always been fantastic.
Overall good tire.
Great tires, have a good look too. Like that they are US made.
Great tires
