These tires do well on the highway as well as some light off road. The problems I've noticed is they don't do so well in deep snow and a lot of ice. I've spun directly through the ice in 4wd in my Jeep and gotten nowhere on a couple of occasions. As far as off road goes, I have had no real problem with them. They handled great in dirt, gravel and mud.
