Lexani Tires is a tire manufacturer who is popular for its range of performance tires that deliver excellent traction, handling, and road manners to the drivers. A sub-brand of Nexen Tires, Lexani offers a range of tire in different categories such as performance, passenger, off-road, ultra-high-performance, trailer and all-season tires, all optimized for performance.

The Lexani LX-Thirty is an ultra-high-performance tire that’s designed for use on CUVs and SUVs and features an optimized tread pattern for optimized performance at higher speeds.

In this Lexani LX-Thirty tire review, we will take a look at some of the features and benefits of the tire, its pros and cons, along with SimpleTire’s views on the tire.

    Features and Benefits

Ultra-high-performance tires are commonly used on sports and performance vehicles and can deliver reliable performance, stable grip, precise steering control, and consistent traction when driving at higher speeds. These tires are popular among performance enthusiasts and accent their performance vehicles.

The Lexani LX-Thirty is an ultra-high-performance tire that can also be used year-round thanks to its all-season rubber compound with a W-shaped directional tread pattern, flexible compound, and circumferential tread grooves for overall smooth performance. Here are some of the other noteworthy features and benefits of the tire.

    • Enhanced performance: Solid center ribs enhance handling and steering performance.
    • Improved wet grip: Twin circumferential grooves work with open shoulders and angled tread blocks for improved hydroplaning resistance and wet grip.
    • Increased durability: Durable tread compound reduces uneven wear for longer tread life.
    • Optimized braking performance: Shoulder blocks put more rubber on the road to boost acceleration and braking performance.

The Lexani LX-Thirty is available in a variety of tire sizes ranging from 18 to 32 inches and is also backed by a 30,000 mile limited manufacturer tread life warranty.

    Pros and Cons

    Lexani LX-Thirty

Now that we know more about the features and benefits of the tire, let’s also talk about a few pros and cons of LX-Thirty.

    • Super ultra-high-performance year-round for CUVs and SUVs.
    • Improved wet grip with resistance to uneven tread wear.
    • Optimized braking performance for enhanced safety and performance.
    • Backed by a 30.000 mile limited manufacturer tread life warranty.

While these pros paint a good picture, also consider these cons.

    • Should not be used in below-freezing conditions.
    • The tire can be noisy being ultra-high-performance tires.
    • The road comfort could have been better.

SimpleTire’s view on Lexani LX-Thirty tires

    Lexani LX-Thirty

If you are looking for a set of ultra-high-performance tires that can deliver good performance throughout the year, except in heavy to moderate winter weather conditions, then the Lexani LX-Thirty might be the right choice for you. Designed for sports enthusiasts, the tire delivers reliable and consistent performance and is also backed by a 30,000 mile limited manufacturer tread life warranty for additional peace of mind.

You can also take a look at the Nexen N Fera SU1 if you want better durability and traction at a higher price point. However, the Lexani tire does offer better longevity, a limited manufacturer tread life warranty, and can be used year-round.

Vehicles the Lexani LX-Thirty is a great replacement tire for

As the Lexani LX-Thirty is available in a variety of tire sizes it can be used as a good replacement tire for a range of vehicles including 2018 Acura MDX, 2015 Ford F-150 XLT 4x4, 2011 BMW X5, 2014 Dodge Challenger R/T and more.

Very good tires, they're quiet, comfortable, and solid on dry and wet roads for normal driving. I would not recommend them for high performance driving. They are not as planted at high speed (85-130 mph) as Pirelli's or even the Achilles Firehawks that I bought before these. I haven't driven in snow with them yet, but I will update this after I do.

Wheels are balanced and not defective, but tires causing very high vibration and shaking when driving. Tires themselves look fine but local wheel companies that have looked into the issue have told me the batch and quality could be poor causing this very concerning ride comfort.
