An all-season rubber compound works with angled tread blocks to improve traction and performance in dry, wet, and light winter weather conditions, and the D955's tough construction and steel belts increase durability for a longer tread life. Additionally, the D955 utilizes zigzag grooves to funnel water out of the tread to enhance grip on wet roads and prevent hydroplaning.
