Great tires
Have these tires installed on my daily/plow 2011 Chevy Silverado 1500. Compared to my all terrain tires that I had it's definitely an upgrade. These tires have so much grip in slush, snow (light or deep) and ice that I only have had to put my truck on auto 4x4 when I'm plowing uphill. On the highway they are very smooth, quiet and maneuver very well.
ran 4 brands winter b4 tires.very happy w/ these
Great tire..
So far I have encountered 2 snow storms. They grip very well in light and deep snow. Iced conditions as well. I also plow with my truck and the the only time I've put my truck in auto all wheel drive is while plowing uphill.
Perfect tires for light and deep snow.
Installed these tire on my Chevy Silverado 1500 daily driver. These tires are very quiet and give a smooth ride. I have encountered 2 snow storms and the only time I've had to put my truck in Auto 4 wheel drive was when I was plowing up hill. Other than that I haven't had the need for the 4x4. These tires have a strong grip even on ice. For the price this tire can't be beat.
Stay Away from this company
Tires arrived and they were over 3 years old on manufacture date when made. All they offered was 10% of next purchase. There will be NO tires coming from your business to my house again and I'll tell all my military friends to use Priority Tire through the Army Air Force Exchange Service.
Get technical:
Dunlop's Winter Maxx SJ8 is a winter tire that's designed for use on SUVs and offers drivers strong grip in icy and snowy conditions.
Features & Benefits
- Tread is designed for use in winter weather
- Black sidewall
- Three Peak Mountain Snowflake symbol means this tire is certified to perform in severe snow conditions
Winter weather can cause havoc for many drivers, as ice, snow, and slush can make roads slippery. Fortunately, winter tires are designed to remain flexible in lower temperatures for consistent grip in these conditions, and Dunlop's Winter Maxx SJ8 does that and more for SUV drivers. Higher blade density increases traction in icy conditions, and the Winter Maxx SJ8's Three Peak Mountain Snowflake certification means this tire is built to perform in ice, snow, and other challenging winter weather conditions.
