All-terrain tires offer drivers traction on- and off-road, and are typically used by light truck and SUV drivers who want a tire that's able to climb rocks and perform on the highway.

Designed for use on light trucks and SUVs such as the Ram 1500, Ford F-150, and Chevrolet Silverado. Light Truck tires are strong enough to support a truck's heavier weight and whatever else is being hauled or towed.

Standards that measure treadwear, temperature resistance and traction, example: "640 A A".  The 640 is the treadwear test and it lasted 6.4 times longer than the comparison tire tested against.
