3. Pirelli P Zero AS Plus 3 - Best UHP All-Season Tire

For drivers who want the sharp performance of a UHP (ultra-high-performance) tire without the headache of having to switch UHP tires for all-season when temperatures get colder, there’s the Pirelli P Zero AS Plus 3. The P Zero AS Plus from Pirelli is another all-season tire designed to deliver the best of both worlds: consistent traction year-round and precise and crisp performance. The P Zero All Season Plus 3 is designed for durability and great wear properties, with a new polymer-enhanced tread formulation, a polyester casing reinforced by a twin steel belt package, and polyamide reinforcement plies for a 50,000 mile manufacturer’s treadwear warranty. With that in mind, we give the Pirelli P Zero All Season Plus 3] a very respectable SimpleScore of 8.9 for longevity. The P Zero AS Plus is designed for dependable traction year-round, with an asymmetric tread pattern that puts more rubber in contact with the road thanks to its flat footprint and a minimal void area. If you’ve ever had to contend with heavy snow that lingers on the roads for days or weeks, you probably already discovered that a winter tire is the only thing for it because an all-season tire will not be up to the task.
